"The Trinity of Sound" Symbolic and Spiritual Concert
October 23, 2025, 7:00 PM Sala Baldini, Piazza di Campitelli 9, Rome
The Tota Pulchra Association, with the patronage and support of the Kicco Music record company of Milan, is pleased to invite the public to the concert "The Trinity of Sound," a unique musical event to be held on October 23, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the historic Sala Baldini in Rome.
The project offers a musical and symbolic journey around the three fundamental elements of music: Voice, Breath, and Key. These are not simply technical aspects, but profound archetypes of human expression, representing respectively the soul that manifests itself (Voice), the life force that animates (Breath), and the medium that embodies intention (Key).
The Voice, performed by soprano Laura Ansaldi, presents itself as the signature of the soul, a vehicle of emotions and words that becomes prayer, invocation, and inner song. Laura Ansaldi is an internationally renowned Italian spinto soprano with over fifteen years of experience on the world's most prestigious stages, including La Scala in Milan and Carnegie Hall. Known for her coloratura skills and powerful stage presence, she has performed leading roles in operas such as "The Marriage of Figaro," "Aida," and "Tosca." Her training spans music and theater, combining vocal technique and theatrical expressiveness.
The Breath is embodied by the flute of Marco Baragli, a musician of great experience and sensitivity. Born in Arezzo, he has collaborated with numerous Italian and international orchestras, performing in theaters and festivals in Italy, Europe, and the United States. His career spans the classical to contemporary repertoire, with a particular focus on sacred and chamber music. Marco Baragli is also active as a teacher and choir director, committed to spreading musical culture through educational projects and concerts.
The key finds its voice on the piano of Alexey Botvinov, one of the most important contemporary Ukrainian pianists and internationally recognized. A specialist in the works of Rachmaninoff and Bach, he has performed in over forty countries and at prestigious venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie and the Tonhalle in Zurich. Founder and president of the "Odessa Classics" festival, Botvinov is known for his innovative approach to classical music, integrating multimedia elements into his performances. He has received numerous awards, including the Platinum Medal from the French Academy of Arts-Sciences-Lettres.
Through ten pieces chosen from different eras and styles, the concert explores universal themes such as freedom, dreams, vocation, divine light, hope, and destiny. Each composition is linked to one of the three elements of the Trinity of Sound and a universal symbol, creating a meaningful dialogue that invites the listener to profound reflection on being and art.
Furthermore, the event will feature works by visual artists Véronique Gray and Conchita De Palma, whose creations harmoniously interact with the concert, enriching the audience's sensorial and symbolic experience.
The choice of the Sala Baldini, the former sacristy of the 17th-century Church of Campitelli and dedicated to a bishop who saved Jewish families during World War II, further enriches the experience with its strong historical and humanitarian significance.
