In April 2024, Tota Pulchra, together with the Fondazione Rezza Pro Cultura et Caritate and local partners, brought essential aid to Santo Domingo in support of Haitian refugees.

The mission overcame bureaucratic and logistical challenges to ensure that the materials donated from Genoa reached some of the most vulnerable families. We now ask for your support: every contribution helps us continue our work on the ground and expand the assistance provided to those in need.

Why Donate

  • Immediate Response to Basic Needs: your donation helps provide food, hygiene kits, school supplies, and essential materials for children and families.
  • Strong Local Presence: Tota Pulchra works in collaboration with the Archdiocesan House “Maria de la Altagracia,” the diocesan Caritas, and volunteers active in the local community.
  • Targeted and Verifiable Support: the mission focuses on concrete interventions, including aid distribution, educational workshops for minors, and psychosocial support activities.
  • Transparency and Accountability: we are committed to reporting how resources are used and to providing regular updates on the progress of the mission.

What Your Donation Supports

Your contribution can help fund:

  • family kits with food and hygiene products;
  • school supplies for children;
  • logistical costs for a day of distribution, including transport and local personnel.

These examples are indicative. Every donation, even a small one, is precious and helps bring real support to vulnerable families.

Results Achieved So Far

Thanks to the commitment of the local team, including Sister Marie Guerda Excéus, Msgr. Jean Marie Gervais, Father Hygord Amédée, José Taberas, Ignazio, and Caritas representatives, the crates donated from Genoa were released, collected, and delivered.

The mission has already made it possible to:

  • distribute food parcels and hygiene kits;
  • launch educational workshops and recreational activities for children;
  • provide moments of care and psychosocial support;
  • strengthen the local network of solidarity and institutional cooperation.
