Emanuela Del Zompo is an actress, singer, journalist, writer and filmmaker. She began her career as an actress at the Bellini theater in Naples by performing in a Comedy of Errors directed by Tato Russo. She then moved on to TV with Maurizio Costanzo in ‘Buona Domenica’ before making her presence felt in cinema among national and international renowned directors such as Francesco Massaro, Tinto Brass, Luca Manfredi, Alessandro Capitani, Gabriele Muccino, Robin Ritter and Christian Voss. After this, had the leading role in a Rai International documentary: ‘Come prima, piu’ di prima, mi amerò’’ (Like before and more than before shall I love myself).
She wrote the biography of Grace of Monaco and sings in a gospel choir. She has worked with Moving Pictures Magazine and America Today.
Emanuela Del Zompo with her projects deals with social issues, such as disability, combating violence against women and the elderly, Alzheimer's, and equal opportunities and homless.
‘Grunda, the angel with the broken wings’, is a cartoon that she created, interpreted and produced, on the theme of femicide. ‘The legend of Kaira’ is the second comic created by Emanuela Del Zompo, who produced and directed by it a fantasy shortmovie about the condition of women. The superheroine is a warrior who travels through time to time-traveling warrior to redeem herself and women as a whole.
She directed 3 short films in 2020: ‘Birthday during the pandemic - Covid-19 side effects’, ‘The Womens’ angels’ and ‘The Legend of Kaira’.
In 2021 she produced, directed and interpreted ‘Death's Fairy', the second chapter of ‘The Legend of Kaira’.
In 2025 she directed Reflections, short film about Alzheimer's and her first documentary, about Little Italy, My American dream, Kaira's Journey: the other side of America, made in California.
She wrote the biography of Princess Grace of Monaco.
On May 29, 2026, The Legend of Kaira, will be on display at the Maxxi Museum in Rome and from April 9 to 12, 2026 at the ArtExpò in New York.
She is also a member of the Penitentiary Police Association of Rome.
